Bally Sports

Bally Sports is a USA television channel.

Bally Sports is a group of 21 regional networks previously known as Fox Sports Networks. The group describes itself as "the nation's leading provider of local sports" and is the TV home to more than half of all MLB, NHL and NBA teams based in the United States.

The business is owned by Diamond Sports Group, a subsidiary of Sinclair Broadcast Group in which Entertainment Studios has a minority interest. The group was renamed from Fox Sports Networks to Bally Sports on March 31, 2021 based on a licensing and promotion agreement with gambling business Bally's Corporation.

In 1996, News Corporation, which had launched Fox Broadcasting Company ten years earlier, took over the Prime Network affiliates and rebranded them as Fox Sports Net. In 1996, Fox bought SportSouth and renamed it FSN South. In 1998, SportsChannel America joined the Fox Sports Net family (the Florida affiliate joined in 2000). Starting in September 2004, Fox Sports Net became known as FSN. The business was sold to the Walt Disney Company on March 19, 2019 and Disney sold it to Sinclair for $10.6 billion on August 22, 2019.

It is one of the worst American media outlets, according to Mondo Times members.

This television channel is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc.

-- The decision, handed down December 8, 2011 in Delaware's bankruptcy court, thwarts the efforts of Fox Sports Net, which claimed that the Dodgers' motion could cripple its regional sports network in the nation's second-largest media market.
