It airs programs about real estate ('House Hunters'), interior decorating ('Martha Knows Best'), home renovation and remodeling ('Fixer To Fabulous') and holiday-themed shows. The channel also sells home-oriented products through the HGTV Home consumer products line.
HGTV is owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc., a major producer of "real life entertainment" that also operates Discovery Channel, Food Network, Travel Channel, Animal Planet and others.
