Escape

Escape was a USA television channel.

Escape was an American broadcast television network targeting women aged 25 to 54 which used the slogan "slip away." It was launched in 2014 and was shut down on September 30, 2019 when it was replaced by Court TV Mystery, a low-budget law and order channel related to Court TV.

Escape aired on the digital subchannels of local television stations and featured a programming mix of movies and TV series with stories of crime and mystery, which the network calls "daring" and "sexy." Escape and three other networks (Bounce, Grit and Laff) were owned by Katz Broadcasting until October 2, 2017, when the company was sold to E.W. Scripps Company for $302 million.
