WB Television Network

WB Television Network was a USA television network.

The WB Television Network was a U.S. national television network operated as a joint venture by Warner Bros. Entertainment, then a division of the now-defunct Time Warner, and the Tribune Broadcasting division of the now-defunct Tribune Company.

Launched on January 11, 1995, The WB ceased operations on September 17, 2006 and a day later was replaced by The CW Television Network. Early in 2006, Warner Bros. Entertainment had agreed to merge The WB with CBS Corporation's UPN Television Network to create The CW.
