Blouin Artinfo

Blouin Artinfo was a USA website covering Arts.

The Artinfo website was shut down as a result of the ambitions and delusions of Louise Blouin, a Canadian entrepreneur who sought to be a leader and power-broker in the world of art. On February 21, 2024, Jacob Bernstein wrote about her at The New York Times: The Rise and Fall of Art Mogul Louise Blouin.

Artinfo was established in 2005 and later renamed Blouin Artinfo after owner and publisher Louise Blouin. It was an online publication mixing breaking news from the art world with art reviews, gossip, artist profiles, stories about art collecting, gallery and museum guides and information about art world jobs.

Louise Blouin launched Louise Blouin Media in 2003 and acquired Art+Auction Magazine (2003) and Modern Painters (2005). After her name appeared in the Panama Papers in 2016, stories emerged of unpaid bills, staff layoffs and outsourcing editorial operations to Bangalore. As of February 2024, we have been unable to reach any of the Blouin Media websites for years.

This website was owned by Louise Blouin Media.
