Converting magazine is no longer published. The print magazine and website ceased operations on April 30, 2010 when owner Reed Business Information shut them down. Converting was a trade magazine published for converters, which are businesses that convert paper, paperboard, plastic film and foil materials into finished, printed packaging such as bags, pouches, labels, tags, folding cartons and corrugated shipping cases. Converting had an audited circulation of about 37,000 as of 2008. Mark A. Spaulding was the last editor of the magazine.
This magazine was owned by Reed Business Information.

The Association of International Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL) plans to introduce Converting Quarterly, a new technical publication, in February 2011. The magazine and its companion website will serve the Web-processing, converting and finishing industry. It will be the official publication of AIMCAL.
