KTRV TV 12 in Boise, Idaho is an owned and operated station of Ion Media Networks. It airs the programming of Ion Television, which was launched on January 29, 2007.
Until September 1, 2011, KTRV was an affiliate of the Fox Television Network. When the Fox affiliation agreement was not renewed, it became an independent station. Ion Media bought KTRV from Block Communications in October 2017.
