KTAL TV 6 is a TV station in Shreveport, Louisiana, USA airing NBC network programs, local news and weather.

The station is an affiliate of the NBC Television Network.

KTAL TV 6 is the NBC network affiliate in Shreveport, Louisiana, broadcasting across the "ArkLaTex" region covering parts of Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma. Owner Nexstar Media Group also operates but does not own KMSS TV 33, the local Fox affiliate.

KTAL began broadcasting on August 16, 1953 as KCMC TV. It was owned by Clyde E. Palmer, the publisher of the Texarkana Gazette. In late 1960, the call letters were changed to the current KTAL. Palmer's media properties were eventually taken over by Palmer's son-in-law, Walter E. Hussman, Sr. Palmer Newspapers was renamed WEHCO Media, Inc. in 1973. The company is now run by Hussman's son, Walter E. Hussman, Jr. WEHCO publishes the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and other daily and weekly newspapers.
